Goodbye, Podcast Problems. Meet Wil Williams Reviews. (Important Updates!)

It’s the site’s first birthday, and to celebrate, I have some BIG changes for you all! Some you may have already noticed or heard about. Some, though, are hopefully still exciting surprises!

The site is now officially Wil Williams Reviews

“Podcast Problems” seems like a way too negative name for what I hope is a pretty positive site. Also, it’s confusing to have a site named for a recurring column. Also, you all know who I am anyway. If you don’t: hi, I’m Wil, and this is Wil Williams Reviews.

As I’m sure you can see, the site also got a makeover

It was time to make this site more of a site and less of a blog! Please feel free to let me know if anything in the layout is confusing or hard to find, and I’ll do my best to rectify it.

Want to support Wil Williams Reviews and get some exclusive perks? Now you can!

After long last, I’ve finally made a Patreon! We had what was supposed to be a quiet launch yesterday (3/8/18) and wound up breaking through our first three goals in a matter of hours instead. As a supporter, you’ll get curated playlists, a behind-the-scenes planning and chat blog, the ability to request reviews for shows you love, and more!

Want some help on your podcast? I now offer consultations

If you’ve ever wanted an expert opinion on your podcast, complete with detailed notes and timestamps, you can now get those directly from me. For a run-down of my consultation services, please be sure to read this page!

My review policies have been updated to allow more podcast discovery

I’ve gotten more rigorous with review requests to allow myself more time for podcast discovery. That means finding more hidden gems as well as reviewing more big-name podcasts to see if they live up to the hype! You can read my updated review policies here.

And this all means there’s going to be even more new, exciting things down the line!

The updates will allow me to bring you more reviews for great shows, more news updates, more lists, more Podcast Problems posts, and more new post ideas! They’ll also allow me to attend more live recordings of podcasts and get to more podcast conventions and conferences.

It’s been a hell of a year, folks, and I’m so excited for the next. I hope you are, too.
