36 Questions, the new podcast from Two-Up Productions, debuted yesterday under the name “Two-Up” on most podcasting apps. Two-Up Productions are the creators of Limetown, one of the most impressive fiction podcasts is recent history. While Limetown was a story rooted in horror and science fiction, 36 Questions is positioned as an intimate musical drama.
36 Questions is a 3-part mini series that promises a high production value given the medium of a musical and Two-Up’s previous work. Here is the description from the 36 Questions site:
In this three-part musical starring Jonathan Groff and Jessie Shelton, a couple attempts to bring their marriage back from the brink of divorce using 36 revealing questions designed to make strangers fall in love. Act 1 now available. Act 2 coming July 24th. Music available for sale now.
The premise is based on 36 questions the New York Times claims can make you fall in love or make your love stronger. The questions are things like, “What is a perfect day for you?” and “What is your most terrible memory?”
You can find 36 Questions on Apple Podcasts as “36 Questions” or on most other apps as “Two-Up.” You can also stream the show from their website, where they also have a behind-the-scenes preview of the show.
