“Limetown” Novel Pre-Order Available, Season 2 Release Date Announced

Today via Twitter, the Limetown team announced that their long-awaited novel is available for pre-order via Barnes and Noble, Amazon, etc. The tweet also announced that Limetown‘s second season will debut on Halloween, October 31st, 2018:

Leading up to the release of the second season, I’m recapping each episode every Tuesday and Thursday during October 2018.

As confirmed on the Barnes and Noble pre-order for the novel, the release date is one day before the premier of Season 2, October 30th, 2018. The novel will be a prequel to Season 1 of the podcast, taking place when Lia Haddock first heard about Limetown. (Update as of 6/1/18: The release of the novel has been pushed back to November 13th, 2018.)

The description for the novel reads as such:

From the creators of the #1 podcast Limetown, an explosive prequel about a teenager who learns of a mysterious research facility where over three hundred people have disappeared—including her uncle—with clues that become the key to discovering the secrets of this strange town.

On a seemingly ordinary day, seventeen-year-old Lia Haddock hears news that will change her life forever: three hundred men, women, and children living at a research facility in Limetown, Tennessee, have disappeared without a trace. Among the missing is Emile Haddock, Lia’s uncle.

The tweet also hints at “even more soon,” perhaps suggesting more news on the Limetown TV pilot that was announced several months ago, long before the Season 2 announcement.

More details will be posted in the News section as they are released.
